Behavioral
Health Services is a program of the
Center
for Child and Family Services in Hampton, Virginia. The Center, which was established in
1943, is a comprehensive provider of counseling services to
children, adults, families and organizations. The Behavioral
Health Services program has been designed to help you or
someone you know face problems of daily living and find
solutions to those problems. Our goal is to improve the
quality of life of each individual or family.
The Center has
a proven track record of providing high quality confidential
counseling services. Over the years the Center has
developed and maintains active and strong working
relationships with other key human service providers in the
area to ensure that each individual receives the best and most
appropriate services possible.
The Center
serves individuals, families and organizations throughout
Hampton Roads. The Center serves all individuals
regardless of race, color, religion, creed, gender, national
origin, age, disability or sexual orientation. No one is
turned away at the Center due to their inability to pay for
services. The Center accepts most major health
insurances and has a sliding fee scale for those individuals
who do not have health insurance.
The Behavioral
Health Services Program provides counseling services to
children, adolescents, adults, families and organizations.
The Center recognizes that there are many different types of
problems individuals are facing in their daily lives. As
a result, the Center has gathered some of the finest
therapists in the area to provide the counseling services
offered in the programs. These therapists have advanced
degrees in counseling, social work, psychology, and education.
The therapists are licensed by the state of Virginia and all
have extensive experience in counseling/therapy.
